A. has been telling me that everyone in NYC wears cut off jean shorts.. "jorts" as she calls them. I scoffed. NYC is supposed to be a fashion capital.. jorts? Really? She has also been through about 3 pairs of sneakers from places like Urban Outfitters and American Apparel this summer in the city. She wears them to dance class and all around the city.
